So Tony Blair reckons that he backed going to war in Iraq because he thought that’s what the Bloke Upstairs wanted him to do. Of course this is just repeating what Bush has said many times in the past, so you have to wonder is this all part of Blair’s plan to position himself for a cushy international job? After all, Blair will be stepping down as prime minister in the next year or so and if he want’s the backing of the Bush White House he’ll have to do it before George heads off for pastures new. Just an idea.

Anyway it’s great to see these two great western leaders differentiating themselves from those religious fanatics who claim to recieve their orders from, ummm, God.
